1. Trim the Wick

Before each use, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch (6mm). This helps prevent soot, mushrooming, and uneven flames.

2. Burn Long Enough the First Time

Let the candle burn until the entire surface melts (usually 1–2 hours, depending on size). This prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn.

3. Place on a Heat-Resistant Surface

Always place your candle on a stable, heat-safe surface away from drafts, pets, or anything flammable.

4. Don’t Burn Too Long

Limit each burn to 3–4 hours to preserve fragrance quality and wick stability.

5. Extinguish Safely

Use a candle snuffer or gently blow it out. Avoid dipping the wick into the wax (unless you're experienced) to minimize smoke.

6. Store Properly
